I just read an article on some scientists at some lab that managed to cause $3 million dollars of damages to their property by testing a cannon out on one of their buildings.

I went around school last block with a nerf gun shooting random teachers.

My hand picked team for the 2009 indoor track obstacle course won.

Stem cells restored a blind man’s vision today.

Uplifting.

Seriously scientists are supposed to be smart.

How are they dumb enough to aim a cannon at a building?

When I grow up, I want to be a land surveyor.

I get the feeling that some people go out of their ways to give others a figurative slap on the face.

I was told once that it’s satisfying for some people to know that they are in some way hurting someone else. Hurt like in an emotional way that they themselves have been hurt before. I just don’t get that. How does it make someone feel any better to know that they’re causing someone to feel the same pains they are trying to heal? What kind of sick sadistic thinking is that?

If I had one wish in the world, I would wish that males and females wouldn’t develop feelings for each other. Quite frankly, it brings out the worst in people.

Agree? Disagree?

I want this year to be perfect. Maybe not everything will go my way. But I want the things I remember to be perfect. So far it’s going my way. Track meet on Friday against Agawam and Amherst. Not the two best teams in Western Mass. But a win is a win. And we won both. Not only that, we swept high jump in both meets. I got third in both meets. 5 feet 5 inches. Boom. I was pretty close on my first and third attempts at 5’7 as well. Shame. The two kids that beat me were both from my school. One is black and the other is white so they had an advantage over me since I’m asian and asians aren’t good at sports. Would have qualified for Western Mass but it’s going to happen anyways so it doesn’t matter. I just looked at the results for the meets. Here are the top 15 from both meets.

What the hell? So if I was competing in D2, I would place third yet since I’m in D1, I place fifteenth. Even more so with the Vermont leagues. With my pr from last year or 5’6, I would be ranked top 10 in the state of Vermont. In Massachusetts, I wouldn’t even be top 100. Oh well, ranked 15/36 isn’t bad. Time to improve. Coach is bringing a video camera to our next jumping practice which should help. I’m really curious as to how I look like when I jump. So so close to 5’7. You have no idea. I brushed the bar with my legs on my way down every time. Maybe I just have to kick my legs more. We shall see.

Let’s just survive the next three days and then it’s time to celebrate. My parents are having a bunch of Asian people over on Christmas Eve and they’re sleeping over and they all are bringing their screaming 5 year old children. I’m going to try to get my parents to let me sleep over someones house that night. If I can find a house.

Even more people are getting into relationships now which is heart warming. Everyone is happier. The stress of school is starting to fade in our minds. Everything is getting better. My knee didn’t bother me at all during the meet. Neither did my back. I did really well, but I can still see lots of areas for improvement. This school year is going perfectly
